Assistive Technology Guide - Door Closers
Assistive Technology Guide - Door Closers

Tags: Access Assistive Technology, Doors, Adult, Closer

Door closers are commonly used in public buildings to return the door to the closed position after use. Door closers do not assist in opening a door. AS1428.1 recommends that the use of door closers be avoided because of the increased strength required to open a door against the force of the closer.
