Endless Possibilities for All
Door closers are commonly used in public buildings to return the door to the closed position after use. Door closers do not assist in opening a door. AS1428.1 recommends that the use of door closers be avoided because of the increased strength required to open a door against the force of the closer. Spring hinges and gravity hinges may be used as door closers in limited application.

There are many electric/powered beds on the market with the ability to adjust. They can be height adjustable, usually referred to as Hi-Lo. The headrest angle can be altered to bring a person into a more upright position. A knee break can raise under a person's knees to help prevent them from slipping down the bed. The foot section can be elevated. The bed can also be made to tilt in various directions.

Electric kettles are a means of boiling water for hot drinks or cooking etc. The advantage electric kettles have over stove-top kettles is that they can be used wherever there is a power supply and not just in a kitchen. They may only require a small amount of water and can be boiled quickly.

Electric knives take the effort out of carving and slicing for people who have weak or painful hands. Electric knives need to be fitted together and plugged in, then taken apart for cleaning. These extra tasks need to be taken into account when assessing the labour saving benefits of an electric knife.
