The WAIT is over!
ILC NSW has revised this popular guide, 2015 edition is available for purchase.
Bathrooms and kitchens require special attention in the planning phase. Once they are built, they are expensive to alter or modify. This Guide provides advice on planning bathrooms and kitchens for people with specific needs.
The 2015 edition presents an update reviewing circulation and access requirements taking into consideration new sizes of wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility aids. The revised edition also:
- includes additional information based on carers needs to facilitate access to and within the bathroom;
- provides a general overview of the latest innovative assistive technology available for home modifications and retrofits.
