This Two Day Introductory PODD Workshop, proudly presented by the Independent Living Centre NSW, will be of interest to anyone who is supporting communication for people requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). PODD communication systems can assist people who have very little or no speech, including people with physical, sensory and cognitive challenges. The concepts support people using light tech, (non-electronic) and high tech methods of communication, although the workshop mainly focuses on light tech communication systems.
We are very pleased Gayle Porter, who developed this system and is from the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre in Victoria, will be presenting this workshop with Harriet Korner, ILCNSW.
