Endless Possibilities for All
A mattress replacement system to assist with pressure redistribution that offers both powered and static inflation modes. Consists of a foam-in-cell mattress composition that allows the alternating pressure support surface to be switched to self adjusting air and foam support. Also offers a uniform air static mode for stability when transferring. Memory foam top surface moves independently of underneath air calls reducing shear when adjusting bed profile.
Modern mattresses are made in a variety of ways and from a variety of materials. They can be made using a combination of springs, latex, foam, gel or water. Mattress choice generally depends on personal preferences, physical needs and budget. If the user is at risk of developing pressure injuries, it is advisable to consult an occupational therapist for appropriate mattress choice.

The Carilex Airmax is a non powered combination air and foam replacement mattress suitable for use on standard hospital beds in a single or king single size. The mattress has eight air cells which allow air flow in or out as required to maintain a low pressure surface for patients at medium risk of pressure injuries. The air cells are encased in elastic foam and the whole mattress has a removable waterproof cover.
The Carilex Dual is an alternating air mattress with a foam base for high risk patients with up to a stage four pressure injury. It provides a high level of pressure reduction and has an electrically powered low noise operating unit. It comes in two sizes, a standard and narrow width and is suitable for patients up to 200kg. The mattress cover is waterproof, breathable and also fire retardant.
A static mattress replacement system consisting of a combination of Multicush air cells and viscoelastic foam. The cover is made from Polysoft vinyl. Available in standard (single) and king single sizes.

The Comfort Air mattress overlay provides constant low pressure support to the sacrum and heels area. The degree of patient immersion for the sacrum area is controlled by the volume of air introduced into the Roho air section with a hand pump. It can be suitable for anyone with unstable fractures or patients who does not tolerate alternating air dynamic mattresses. The mattress provides even pressure distribution and high comfort.
