The kit is designed to provide staff working in commercial settings, hospitals and nursing homes with a duress alarm.
The kit consists of
* Wireless duress transmitter - a wrist worn transmitter with a small red push button which can be pressed in the event of an emergency. Can be switched on and off by authorised staff to extend battery life. It transmits a low battery signal to an optional central monitor. Provides approximately 30 metres of transmission range
* Wireless indicator light - features an amber coloured flashing light and auditory alarm when activated via the transmitter. The auditory alarm is volume adjustable. Made from a white ABS plastic enclosure with a plastic membrane front panel
* Wireless reset button - a green coloured push button which can be pressed to cancel a duress transmission and reset the system. Features a low battery indicator.
All of the devices in the kit are waterproof
Additional options include
* Wireless waterproof call button with pull cord - features a red LED light which illuminates when the switch is activated
* Central monitor - can be connected to the other Cura-1 wireless devices in the kit to provide indication of low battery and fault conditions, designed to be wall mounted
* Range extender (wireless bumper) - provides an additional 15 metres of transmitting range
* Desktop care station - can be connected to the other Cura-1 wirelss devices in the kit to provide indication of low battery and fault conditions, designed to sit on a desktop, can be connected to a printer
* Caregiver reset key - a key chain device which can be attached to a belt or clothing, allows care givers to reset and program various Cura-1 alarm devices
