When fitting to heels, the hook and loop straps should go straight across the top of the foot and around the ankle with the heel in the middle of the pad. On elbows, the straps should fasten across the arm above and below the elbow. Do not cross the straps over. The straps are made long enough for large feet or elbows and may be cut shorter if desired.

This product is to help with the prevention of pressure injuries. Sometimes, due to the patient deteriorating, the product may become unsuitable. Continuous monitoring is necessary and alternative products may be recommended.
