* The design allows the belt to remain fitted to a patient whilst side straps can be undone to allow transfer from chair to chair
* The belt is placed around the pelvic area, below the waist depending on individual sitting positions. The two side straps should be wound behind the chair frame near to the pelvic area

* Warning: do not buckle behind the patient's back. Safety belts must be fitted correctly and the patient kept under observation

* Machine washable to 80 degrees C
