Safety Alert
When using a Pro-Med hoist with the old style (standard) pivot frame attachment, the safe working load of the frame is only 180kg - even though the sling safe working load is 205kg.

The newer Hi Lift pivot frame safe working load is 200kg.

Pivot Sling (Banana Sling)
* Allows a person to be lifted in either a sitting or lying position. The ability to position a person in the sitting posture greatly assists correct seating. Provides a more open lift.
* Recommended for general lifting including floor lifting
* Recommended for bariatric patients.

Pivot Hygiene Sling (Banana Toileting Sling)
* As above, however the sling has no head support and is higher cut to allow for toilet access. It has additional straps at the two shoulder keyhole attachment points to go around the pivot frame itself so that the occupant remains in an upright sitting position
*Provides easy removal of clothing for toilet transfers and bathing
