Assistive Technology Guide - Custom Made Seating

Some manufacturers can custom make seating for their range of manual and powered wheelchairs. This includes the provision of a shaped back using moulds, cut foam and various other techniques to make seating aiming to meet the users needs. Customisation can also alter the structure of the wheelchair when required including footrests, armrests and tray. Children, adult and bariatric sizes are available.
