Structure
* 21 individual cylindrical nylon PVC air cells (76mm high) span the full width of the overlay
* An alternating series of air cells is used in a1 in 2 alternation cycle for pressure relief over a 12 minute cycle.
* The overlay has a strong nylon PVC base with integrated heavy duty zipper seals
* Each durable nylon air cell is individually replaceable. The cells clip into place on the base

Attachment
* The overlay fastens to the bed mattress with strong elastic straps which attach under each end of the mattress in a 'T' configuration

Cover
* Breathable (vapour permeable), waterproof top cover with multi stretch fabric to minimise friction and reduce shear
* Premium infection control including welded seams and antibacterial taping
* Optional Concave Positioning Cover. This is a replacement top cover with foam side sections to help prevent patients from rolling again side rails or rolling out of bed.

Pump / Control
* Compact analogue control unit with fully adjustable pressure settings and visible alarm in the event of low mattress pressure.
* Enhanced labelling on top cover and control unit for ease of operation.
