More Details

* The mattress is a series of cylindrical foam cushions that attach independently to the base allowing easy removal of individual cushions for cleaning
* The system promotes good ventilation via the ripple effect of the cushion and the heat resistant foam
* Cushions can be placed underneath the flexible aluminium base to change the profile of the mattress
* Glide lock support pads are provided in three sizes of towelling covered foam and are fixed to a metal foot that attaches into the base for ease of positioning. The support pads are flat on one side and curved on the other to allow for increased versatility in positioning
* Useful as an aid to support painful joints, manage existing deformities and immobilise limbs following injury, surgery or because of existing pathology
* The support pads can be repositioned at night without moving the person and with a limited amount of noise or effort on the part of the carer
* The addition of the Dreama on top of the existing mattress raises the child up for ease of transfer
* The cushions provide pressure relief for those at low risk of developing pressure areas

Cover
* Each cushion is covered in bacteria resistant hospital grade fabric and has two sets of elasticated towelling covers. Powder blue or natural

Base
* Flexible aluminium base - a series of 150mm aluminium struts with slots for postural supports to be applied

Structure
* The cushions are made out of heat controlling foam whilst the glide lock support pads are made from firm foam
* The overlay contains 17 cushions, 34 cushion covers, six glide lock support pads in small, medium and large with accompanying covers

Adjustment
* Cushions can be strategically placed beneath the aluminium base to alter the profile of the mattress
* The glide lock support pads attach to the base of the mattress via internal metal feet that can be repositioned as required by simply pulling out and reapplying
* Able to be applied to electrically adjustable beds as the weight of the unit precludes it sliding off the existing mattress

Folding
* The mattress can be rolled up as a whole or it can be dismantled by removing the cushions first
* The weight of the compacted unit may prompt user's to remove the cushions for separate transfer

Cleaning
* As each cushion is a separate item, they can be easily removed for cleaning whilst the person remains in bed
