ArjoHuntleigh Sara Stedy Stand-Up Hoist

The Sara Stedy transfers a person in a semi seated position. It is designed to assist with the transfer of a person from one seated position to another seated position. The occupant needs to be able to weight bear through their legs and arms. It is suitable for use in a domestic setting or healthcare facility.

* The pivoting seat makes it easier for the resident / patient to get into the lift
* The pedal-operated chassis legs can be easily adjusted for better access during transfers
* Built-in seat handgrips integrated into the seat allow the caregiver to easily turn the support aid
* Better and softer knee support provides extra stability and support
* Total-lock castors provide stability when the aid is stationary
* Smaller castors and legs mean a lower chassis for better access
* Safe Working Load 182 kg
* The cross-bar handle allows the resident / patient to support him/herself by pulling rather than pushing when entering the lift. This can reduce the risk of urine leakage.

Method Of Use

* This stand up lifter is designed to assist with the stand transfer of a person from a seated position to a seated position. They need to have the ability to weight bear through their legs and arms (to pull themselves up to stand).
* The hoist, with the seat sections lifted up, is positioned in front of a seated user. The user puts their feet on the platform and pulls them self to standing using the horizontal bar. The attendant lowers the seat sections so the user can then sit in a semi standing position. The user continues to hold the horizontal bar while being transported.
