Sennheiser Infra-Red Systems

A portable, battery powered,sound amplifier designed for a user with a hearing impairment. It connects to a TV, stereo system or radio. Infra red signals transmit the sound to the cordless receiver which is body worn. Two wireless models transmit from the receiver directly to the user's hearing aid. The stethoset models have lightweight headphones for people without a hearing aid.

* Transmitter connections to electrical appliances are made by a jack plug connection (if there is a hearing phone socket) or microphone to the
speaker.
* The transmitters and receivers operate by battery power plugs. Two batteries are provided per system.
* Headphones can be kept on charge when not in use. Approx 3 hours of charge time.
* NOTE: Receiver must be turned off before being put on charge or the battery will be drained.

TO BE USED WITHOUT A HEARING AID:

Set 830 TV
* The Set-830 TV system consists of a TI 830 infra red stereo transmitter and an RI 830 infra red stereo stethoset receiver.
* The TI 830 transmitter is connected to the headphone socket on a television set or hi-fi system. Alternatively, a microphone (MKE 800 TV-N) enables the sound to be picked up from the TV speaker.
The stethoset receiver has a large, volume control (without disturbing others).
* Cordless infra red stethoset system
* Comes complete with a transmitter which doubles as a charging unit for the headphones (Battery BA 300).
* Suitable for rooms of up to 60 sq m, range of up to 12m.
* Operating time - up to 12hrs

Set 840 TV
* The Set-840 TV system consists of a TR840 infra red stereo transmitter and an RR 840 infra red stereo stethoset receiver.
* The TR 840 transmitter is connected to the headphone socket on a television set or hi-fi system. Alternatively, a microphone (MKE 800 TV-N) enables the sound to be picked up from the TV speaker.
The stethoset receiver has a large, volume control (without disturbing others).
* Cordless infra red stethoset system
* Comes complete with a transmitter which doubles as a charging unit for the headphones (Battery BA 300).
* Suitable for range of up to 30m.
* Transmits even through walls.
* Operating time - up to 9hrs.

A 200
The A 200 is a stereo personal sound amplifier that assists hearing in every situation eg TV, conversation.. Due to the stereo amplification via two integrated electret microphones, the user can clearly determine the direction of the sound source. Dynamic headphone transducers ensure a natural and transparent sound reproduction with optimum speech intelligibility. The A 200 features an auxiliary audio input for connecting an external microphone or infra-red receiver.
* Two capsules reproduce amplified speech and sound. Sudden changes in loudness are attenuated to protect hearing.
* Volume is adjustable
* Comes complete with a charging unit accupack with BA 151 rechargeable battery.
* Operating time - up to 12hrs

USE WITH A HEARING AID:

Set 830S Infra-red Receiver
* Infra red systems for use with hearing aids. The sound is transmitted wirelessly directly into the hearing aid by the supplied induction neck loop or the optionally available induction couplers or direct audio input (DAI) cable.
* For listening to TV, connect hearing aid to IR receiver via a cable.
* Uses rechargeable accupack with BA 300 battery.
* Connects to any Sennheiser headphones with a 3.5mm jack plug.
* Volume control is on the receiver
* Has a range of up to 12m in "visual contact" with the receiver
* Operating time - up to 12hrs

Set 840S Infra-red Receiver
* Infra red systems for use with hearing aids. The sound is transmitted wirelessly directly into the hearing aid by the supplied induction neck loop or the optionally available induction couplers or direct audio input (DAI) cable.
* For listening to TV, connect hearing aid to IR receiver via a cable.
* Uses rechargeable accupack with BA 300 battery.
* Connects to any Sennheiser headphones with a 3.5mm jack plug.
* Volume control is on the receiver
* Has Wireless mobility within a range of up to 30 m
* Transmits even through walls.
* Operating time - up to 9hrs
