More Details

* Greenspeed hand trikes have easy and accurate centre point steering. It also has a small turning circle.
* Swiss made Schlumpf mountain-drive as standard equipment, as well as the German Sachs 3x7 hub, giving 42 gears with a very wide range.
* Frames are aluminium alloy
* Recumbent position supports the whole body, allows greater power through the pedals, and cuts down air resistance (less effort required compared to conventional bike).
* Very stable (which also eliminates the danger of going over the handle bars compared to conventional bikes).
* Because the trike is low to the ground it may be difficult for other
vehicles to see it (though it is supplied with a safety flag and no major problems have been reported by users).
.
METHOD OF USE: The individual sits on the trike in a recumbent position (sitting low to the ground with their back supported by the mesh in a semi-reclined position). The trike is propelled by holding onto the levers and turning them in a clockwise position (note: they turn together and not in a reciprocal pattern). Steering is controlled by turning either left or right with the hands
