More Details

* The hoist is constructed from epoxy coated rectangular steel tube.
* It has a curved lifting boom which is moved up and down via a hand held control attached to a controller and batteries.
* A straight, padded, plastic coated spreader bar has three attachment hooks on each end.
* Two angled steering handles are mounted on the mast.
* The U shaped base is adjusted in width into various positions by using the hand control.
* The base is articulated separately from the rear castors. This allows the base width to be adjusted whilst the brakes are on.
* Castors at the rear have lockable brakes.
* The legs are plastic coated for cushioning, with buffer disks at the front.
* There is a plastic cover where the base of the mast meets the U shaped base of the hoist.
* Can be used in conjunction with the Kerry Equipment range of slings.

Slings
Purchased separately, and include:
* General purpose sling with divided leg, with or without head support
* Hammock sling
* Hammock sling with commode aperture
* Band slings

Castors
Swivel style, 100mm swivel castors on the front and 150mm castors with lockable brakes on the rear.

Controls
Hand held on an extendable cord with separate buttons for raising and lowering the hoist and dual speed control. The electric leg gating is also operated via the hand held control. A hook on the hand piece enables it to be located on the hoist when not in use.

Actuator
Positioned upside down, which allows it to nest into the mast and boom when the boom is in the highest position, providing increased clearance.

Power Source
From a LINAK battery mounted on the mast of the hoist. There is an audible low battery warning alarm.

Battery Recharging
Achieved by lifting the battery off of the mast with the handle, placing it in the separate battery charger and plugging the charger into a mains power point.

Safety Features
An emergency stop button and emergency raise and lower button.
