* Designed to provide support for children who cannot stand or walk independently, in an upright position
* A harness system (six sizes) helps provide core support used to help with head control and limb movement
* Saddle seat; is required to perch the user prior to attaching the harness to the frame. Can then be removed if user does not require the saddle and can weight bear, with additional support from the harness and groin straps
* The open-frame helps to promote opportunities for exploration

Optional:
* Ankle guides can be applied to guide lower limb movement away from scissoring or asymmetric stepping pattern. The guides may be applied further up the lower limb for more proximal support.
* Head support may be used if the child has limited head control and/or fluctuating muscle tone
* An adult belt can be used as a support to the therapist or carer to control movement of the walker, with their hands free to facilitate the user?s head control
* User handles and be attached after the child has been transferred into the frame if theyr require space within the frame

Considerations

If concerns about a person's mobility, input from a Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist is recommended to help determine the most appropriate walking aid for an individual's satiation.

Cautions according to the supplier;
* Children with severe dystonic movement which presents a manual handling risk for child and carer when getting the child in and out of the product * Children with device fed through the abdominal wall, such as PEG and gastrostomy
* Children with abdominal device in situ such as Baclofen pump
* Children with compromised respiratory function, who may
experience increased effort of breathing due to fit of harness
* Children with severe lower limb deformity with reduced range of movement to achieve stepping
* Using the product for children with significant learning
disability or behavioural issues which present risk of injury
to the child and/or carer
