More Details

Max Firm Mode
* For nursing and rehabilitation
* Inflate to its firmest level with maximum stability. It will return to previous mode after 20 mins

Static Mode
* For patients sensitive to alternative mode
* Providing a stable surface with pressure lower than alternative mode. It will return to alternate mode after 20 mins

Seat Inflate + Static Mode
* For stable support in seating position
* Support with additional pressure to redistribute pressure centralized at sacral area and avoid excessive sinking while sitting

Seat Inflate + Alternate mode
* May be required for patient with muscle rigidity
* Support with additional pressure during alternate mode to relieve pressure centralized at sacral area

Alternate Mode
* Avoids long term pressurization
* Through periodically 1-in-2 alternating cycle with a cycle time of 10 minutes, the system can avoid long term pressurization on local tissue

Heel-Relief Cells
* Protecting vulnerable heels
* With Heel-Relief connector, heel can be suspended in air to completely eliminate pressure exerted to the heels

Special Rectangular Cells
* Optimal distribution and low shear force
* Cells conform to the contours of the body structure and movement to further absorb shear force caused by displacement (8? mattress only)

Considerations

All pressure reduction products must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion or mattress. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct inflation levels), a different product may need to be considered.

It is advisable that a health professional be consulted when considering a suitable pressure care product.
