Pearl and Open Book Portable Scanning and Reading

The Pearl is an electronic device that converts printed text to human-like speech. The folding Pearl camera deploys in seconds to connect to your computer and snap a picture of your reading material. It uses the accompanying OpenBook 9.0 software to provide instant OCR (Optical Character Recognition).
