Monaco Chair

Seating Matters Monaco Chair

A mobile adjustable chair for those with pressure care and complex seating needs. The Monaco can adjust and grow with a child, or be adjusted to suit different sized adults. Adjustments include seat width, depth, angle and height and backrest recline. Legrest elevation is an option. The seating position can be set up to accommodate tight hamstrings. The footplate can slide under the seat for transfers. Adjustable lateral supports are available for positioning. A power riser version is available. The upholstery is removable. No tools are needed for adjustment.

Considerations

All pressure reduction products must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion or mattress. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use, a different product may need to be considered
