Short Description
A gel and foam chair cushion with a soft, waterproof, and breathable cover and a slip resistant base. The foam layer is made of polyurethane foam and works as the base to support the gel layer. The gel layer has a soft and bumpy surface to help contour to the user's bottom and provide ventilation. The gel and foam cushion aids in the prevention, relief, and recovery of orthopaedic, coccyx, lower back, and tailbone pain. Suitable for low level pressure care. Available in one size only

More Details
Material
* High grade gel top
* High density polyurethane foam base
Cover
* Low shear, washable, breathable, antimicrobial and waterproof Lycra neoprene cover with high flexibility
* Slip resistant cushion bottom
Application
* Suitable for low risk pressure management
Considerations
* All cushions must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct choice and depth of foam, correct inflation level) , a different product may need to be considered.
* The gel cells or fluid on the top layer of the cushion can be punctured
* Ensure that the item is not accidentally placed upside down or back to front.
* It is advisable that a health professional be consulted when considering a suitable pressure care product.
