More Details

Structure
* Twenty cells made of nylon TPU fabric
* Three pillow static head cells

Cover
* Multi way stretch, breathable cover to minimise sheer and friction
* Water/fluid resistant fully welded seams for high level of infection control

Attachment
* The mattress has flaps at either end and straps and buckle along the length. These are both designed to go under the mattress

Pump / Controls
* Analogue pump
* Static function on Pump.
* Quick release CPR valve on external side of mattress
* Transport mode
* Audible and visual power loss and low presure alarm
* Operates on a 10 minute cycle

Considerations

* All pressure reduction products must be monitored to prevent 'bottoming out'. This occurs when the user's weight bears down so hard on the product material that it is flattened and the bony parts are pressed against the surface below the cushion or mattress. Where bottoming out occurs even with correct use (eg correct inflation levels), a different product may need to be considered.

* It is advisable that a health professional be consulted when considering a suitable pressure care product.
