More Details

* Protac SenSit has been developed based on theories of sensory integration. Pressure at trigger points from the chair's flexible plastic balls stimulates tactile, muscle and joint sensation. The numerous sensory perceptions send impulses to the central nervous system, which has a soothing effect and leads to greater bodily awareness and improved well-being.
* Protac SenSit is available with covers in a range of materials and colours.
* The chair comes in two sizes, one for people who are less than 180 cm tall, and one for those who are taller.

Benefits
* Children and adults with concentration difficulties benefit from sitting in the chair. The pressure from the side and neck wings gives a sense of security, so the user can concentrate and relax for longer periods when sitting in the chair, and thereby participate in the social context. Many people use the chair when they are doing homework, working at a computer, or have to concentrate for any reason.
* Protac SenSit is a good supplement for wheelchair users. SenSit is very stable, and the flexibility of the balls makes it easy to individually adapt the chair and create a good resting position, while also reducing any spasticity.

Environment
* The chair suited for use in normal homes, as well as in schools, preschools and institutions.

Protac SenSit Puff
* The optional footstool can be used with the chair, as a leg or foot support, or as a stand-alone chair - e.g. for children. The balls at the top of the footstool provide sensory stimulation, making it comfortable and fun to sit on.

Target Groups who may benefit from the use of Protac SenSit
* Children and adults with cerebral paralysis who need to get out of their wheelchairs to acquire a better resting position which can subdue their spasticity.
* Adults and children experiencing motory unrest or who are unable to concentrate and need a better sense of their bodies
* Psychiatric patients experiencing physical and mental unrest/restlessness
* Neurological patients who need sense stimulation due to vague perception of their bodies after an accident
