Frame
* The titanium frame absorbs vibration and makes it more responsive to the user.
* The dual frame design of the TR3 is designed to give an extremely efficient ride with minimal flexibility in the front of the chair
* The sweeping curve of the lower frame tube creates a unique look as the lower frame blends in and fades away

Seat
* Customised seat widths and depths are available in 25mm increments from 305mm to 510mm

Upholstery
* The upholstery is durable, black, nylon sailcloth
* Many options of adjustable upholstery tension available.

Backrest
* Curved titanium backrest tube and folding backrest is standard
* Ti Shaft back rest bar allows the back rest to be folded and it also locks in a folding position.
* Backrest height is customised and non adjustable.
* Standard angle adjustments range from 80 degrees to 100 degrees
* The upholstery is velcro adjustable, padded, black nylon sailcloth

Armrests
* Swing away tubular armrests or height adjustable, removable desk arms with side guards are available as options

Footplates
* The front frame of the chair is customised to a variety of angles between 60 degrees and 90 degrees increasing in 5 degree increments.
* Footrest width options include a Standard taper or V front end.
* Footrest options include a single angle adjustable footrest, flip back single footrest or high mount footrest

Rear Wheels
* Standard quick release spoked wheels come in 610mm diameter and are pneumatic.
* There are up to 65 different options available in wheels, push rims, spokes and tyres. Options include high flange hubs, titanium handrims, hi-resilient foamed urethane tyres, and high performance SPOX wheels from Spinergy. A range of pneumatic or solid rear tyres are available
* Rear wheel position is customised with minimal adjustment.
* Adjustable Camber Mount incorporates TiLite's Tru-Fit System with up to 18 degrees of camber available

Castors
* It comes standard with 75mm micro casters
* Billet aluminium castors or plastic wheels are optional, all with poly tyres
* Frog Leg suspension forks are also available

Customisation
* Fully customised wheelchair including frame dimensions, centre of gravity and wheel position.

Colours
* 19 different frame colours and a wide range of frame finishes and colour package options available.
* Bead blasted, scratch resistant finishes are standard, and brushed or polished frames are optional

Wheel Locks
* A compact push to lock or pull to lock wheel lock are standard

* LED light option for travelling in the dark. This new package option from Permobil includes a small titanium casing that is incorporated onto the castor arms of the wheelchair. The four miniature bright LED lights, which are set into the arms, are powered by a rechargeable power pack that can be carried in an under-seat or elsewhere for easy access when required.

Considerations

Wheelchair Restraints
When transporting a person in a wheelchair in a car or van, both the occupant and the wheelchair require an RMS (formerly RTA) approved restraint system. The wheelchair and the occupant need to be separately secured to the vehicle itself.
RMS approval is not required for a postural support, such as a harness, that supports the user in the wheelchair but is not part of the vehicle restraint system.
The use of a headrest is not legally required but strongly recommended. Easily detachable, folding headrests which fit a wheelchair with standard push handles are available. Refer to section Wheelchair, Scooter, Cushions, ramps / Postural Supports - Seating System: Restraint+ Head+Back+Seats
