Custom Cushions
* Signature-Fit custom cushions use both firm and soft foam to provide the
required support as well as a soft feel. This foam combination maximises the pressure-relieving qualities of the cushion shape.
* The carved foam is mounted to Baltic birch plywood. The plywood has the T-nut pattern specified at time of order to facilitate ease of wheelchair attachment.

Reinforced Solid Lateral Supports
* Signature-Fit cushions provide solid lateral support. This is accomplished by reinforcing the cushions using 1/8" or 1/4" ABS plastic. The plastic is attached to the side of the cushion and comes out to match the lateral depth. This enables a solid lateral support while maintaining a thin profile. Additionally, a heavy-duty L shaped reinforcement may be requested.

Cushion Cover Options
The cushions can be finished using any of the following materials. the fabrics are vacuum formed to conform to the shape of the foam. The best material is chosen depending on the environment and client needs. There is a wide choice of colours.

Vinyl
* Easy to maintain and can be wiped clean with soap and water.
* Over eight colour choices are available

Dartex
* Easily maintained fabric offers stretch to maximise pressure relief characteristics of foam

Neoprene
* Provides four way stretch maximising pressure relief characteristics of foam.
* Available in six colours

Sewn removable covers
* Available with or without a zipper in incontinent-proof Neoprene, Polar Tech and Lycra
* For clients with significant incontinence issues, the supplier recommends two removable covers

Modifications
* Varying foam consistencies can be chosen to suit the client's pressure care and comfort needs
* Air or gel insert for pressure care can be added to the custom moulded backrest or seat cushion
* Soft spots using foam, air or gel can be added to accommodate the client's body shape

Mounting
* You may also specify which hardware you are using, and the supplier will provide the applicable T-nuts for attachment
* Back mounting options include adjustable drop hardware.
* Seat mounting options include Velcro and adjustable drop hardware.

Trial Fit Policy
* The Signature-Fit carving process enables shipment of unfinished cushions for trial fit. This provides the opportunity to make adjustments to the shape prior to final shipment. If no modifications are needed, the trial fit process can
be bypassed and the cushions will be shipped within 7-10 working days
