Short Description

The Wombat chair is a height adjustable seating system on a mobile base designed for children aged between one and twelve years. It is available in two versions, the Wombat Basic (two sizes) and the Wombat Upgrade (three sizes). Features recline and tilt and adjustable seat width and depth. There is a range of optional seating accessories.

Features
* The main features of the wombat include tilt in space, backrest recline, prone angle adjustment, adjustable seat depth, adjustable back height, footrests that are height and angle adjustable, and fix locks mounted on the seat and back

Frame
* The seat frame consists of powder coated steel

Upholstery
* The seat and backrest are padded with a fire retardant foam and are available in a range of colours

Seating
* The Wombat seating system is designed to allow for freedom of movement but additional postural support is available through the use of seating accessories
* The seat depth is changed by pushing the back backwards or forwards
* The seat width is adjusted by adding hip supports (accessory)
* The seat is equipped with fixlocks and slots to facilitate mounting of accessories
* The range of accessories available includes a head support, swing away lateral supports, tray, swing away knee supports, handles on the rear of the backrest, pommel and adjustable armrests

Adjustments
* To backrest height and seat and back angle are made with handles placed just beneath the seat

Footrest
* The elevating foot support adjusts in height and angle

Brakes
* Individual wheel brakes
* Optional central brake kit operates on front wheels

* The Wombat Basic has a frame with a simple hand operated height adjustment
* The Wombat Upgrade has a foot operated gas spring or power option. It has more height adjustment options, allowing it to go lower to the ground than the basic model
