The Nandu is made from powder lacquered aluminium tubes and has a multi adjustable seat on a height adjustable, mobility base.
Seat
* The Nandu is designed to have continuous seat height adjustment by turning the spindle.
* The seat is made of ABS plastic and is recyclable
* The seat and support cushions are filled with flameproof foam and they are covered in flameproof gemma fabric
* The armrest cushion are made of polyurethane (PUR)
* The eight degrees of forward tilt (angle) in the seat allow for a range of seating positions
* The Nandu has an abdominal belt to support the child in an upright position

Backrest
* The seat has a dual use chest or back support, as the back rest can be reversed to provide abdominal support when in the forward leaning position

Base
* The Nandu mobility base comes with four, twin, swivel, castors for manoeuvrability.
* The base can be fitted with the Panda Futura or x:panda seat by means of an interface

Accessories
* Fix locks come standard with the seat and are pre-mounted for easy and quick mounting of accessories

* Alternative seats can be used with an interface
* One piece foot plate: can be adjusted in height and angle and can be mounted in a variety of positions
* Seat wedges: can be mounted to obtain a narrower seat width
