Short Description
A lightweight removable carbon fibre and foam backrest with side contours. Can be attached to the back canes of most wheelchairs using angle and depth adjustable clamps that can be quick released or fixed. Available in a range of heights and widths suitable for older children and adults. Suitable for manual or power wheelchairs.

* Slightly contoured backrest
* The two-point quick release mounting system has four contact points on the back canes and can be fitted to back canes of various shapes and diameters
Materials
* Carbon fibre backrest shell and mounting components
* Padding is provided via a foam overlay cushion enclosed in a canvas cover
Cover
* Synthetic non-stretch mesh fabric
* Removable, washable, breathable (vapour permeable), and fire retardant
* Additional covers may be ordered if required
Adjustment
* Angle and depth adjustable
* Height adjustments can be made by altering the height of the mounting hardware in relation to the backrest canes
* Backrest mounting hardware can either be fixed or removable
* The quick release backrest is designed for one-handed removal and features a carry-loop to assist with removal

* Option of fixed or swing-away removable lateral supports. A range of heights and width combinations are available. Available heights include low, medium, and standard

Setup And Maintenance
Maintenance
Refer to the supplier and manufacturer manual for maintenance instructions and safety warnings.
Cleaning
* Use a soft cloth to clean shell of backrest
* Hand wash foam pad cover with mild soapy water or detergent, and let dry
* Foam pad should not get wet
* Do not machine wash or machine dry the cover
* Do not hand wash in water temperatures above 70 C (160 F)
* For disinfectant purposes, gently wipe with a cloth dampened with a household disinfectant. Allow foam to air dry thoroughly
* Do not immerse the foam in water
