Who We Are
Assistive Technology Australia (previously, Independent Living Centre NSW) is a leading information, education, and advisory centre for Assistive Technology and the Built Environment. We are located in Westpoint Blacktown, NSW Australia and are a not-for-profit, community based organisation and Public Benevolent Institution.
We provide impartial advice, information and leadership that builds capacity and optimises the value of assistive technology in leading a life of choice.

Our Board of Directors are responsible for providing Assistive Technology Australia with governance, strategic leadership and direction. Our Strategic Plan embodies this direction and is endorsed by the board at the beginning of each new planning cycle.

The company conducts its activities under business names of Assistive Technology Australia, Independent Living Centres Australia, Seamless Living, AT Possibilities Australia and DesignAU.

CREATE ASIA
Assistive Technology Australia (ILCNSW) is a founding member of the Coalition on Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology, Asia. In 2015 the 13 CREATe ASIA alliance partners signed a Memorandum of Agreement at the iCREATe Asia 2015 conference in Singapore, in the presence of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Kingdom of Thailand. The CREATe alliance aims to advance the cause of AT across Asia.
EASTIN
In September 2016, Assistive Technology Australia became an associate partner of the European Assistive
Technology Information network, to be the Australian contact for AT in Europe.
As EASTIN grew to become the Global Assistive Technology Information Network,
AT Australia became a full partner of EASTIN.
